Build log
Hesper is in testing. Every build is listed here, newest first.
1.2 · Stop babysitting · 22 October 2026
Agents finish, prove and unblock themselves; Hesper stays quick with many of them.
- Done means proven. When Claude Code finishes, Hesper runs your tests first. Failures go back to the agent, up to twice, and the row reads proven, not proven, or fixing 2 failing tests.
- Land is now Keep. The sheet opens on the verdict and shows only the changes the tests couldn’t vouch for.
- Change a guess. Hesper tries the other answer in a second copy and shows both verdicts; keep one, with Undo.
- Finish first. When the 5-hour limit will land before the reset, the agents you looked at least wait at their next turn end so the rest can finish.
- Codex approvals. Codex asks wait in the sidebar next to Claude’s.
- Never lag. Terminals redraw only what changed, hidden ones wait until you look; tested with 20 busy agents.
- Panes. Drag the gap between terminals to resize them; zoom fills the window.
1.1 · The workspace release · 18 October 2026
Many agents, one calm window.
- A sidebar of every agent by project. The ones that ask come first, real vendor icons, one status mark everywhere. Up to six terminals side by side; ⌘1–9 and ⌘J to jump.
- Settle and snooze. Press E when you’re done with an agent, S to bring it back later. Undo after every one.
- The ⌘T bar. Models straight from your installed Claude Code, effort per model, ⌘↩ to start one and write the next, shift-click to send one prompt to several agents.
- Answer from anywhere. Question cards with the agent’s real options, a Dock badge only for agents that truly need you, no false “ready” sounds, “done since you looked” marks.
- Terminals. Text size and font, ⌘F inside a pane, ⌘-click a
file:lineto open it, a clipboard guard. - Task copies that are ready to run.
.envcopied,node_modulesshared, your setup command run first, a port per dev server. - Never wait. Assume and rewind, pre-flight questions for long tasks, resume after a usage limit, automations on a schedule.
- Calm and safe. Quiet notifications by default, idle agents rest and wake, a database backup before updates, safe launch after a crash.
1.0 · First build · 17 October 2026
A native Mac home for your coding agents.
- Paper terminals that survive quitting and crashes, each task in its own git worktree.
- The Proof card. What an agent says it did, checked against the tests and the diff before you merge.
- The Code tab. Review, notes and keep, reading every diff in one pass.
- Lead and helpers. One agent can start helpers after you allow each one.
- Accounts and usage. The same numbers as
/usage, a forecast of when you hit a limit, and a calm offer to continue on another account. - Preview. A live page per task. Point at what’s wrong and say what you want.
